Full members

Full Members of Ice Age Europe are museums or visitor centers (legal persons) in Europe with a direct link to an Ice Age/ Palaeolithic or Mesolithic archaeological site and a permanent exhibition on the topic of Ice Age Europe, actively involved in and endorsing the objectives of the Ice Age Europe network.
The archaeological site is or will be made accessible to the public, to the extent permitted by conservation regulations.
Candidates are asked to send a short dossier (PDF) to the office or the lead partner containing:
- A short description of the institution and its organization, including legal form, organizational structure and number of staff,
- Description of the site and the museum/visitor center, including research, educational and touristic activities and numbers of visitors,
- List of scientific papers about the site and past or ongoing research,
- A letter of intent, stating that the candidate will actively participate in the networks activities, attend the semi-annual network meetings at one of the member sites, pay the annual full membership fee (1.600 € p.a., subject to change) and respect the decisions made by the network members.
Associated members

Associated Members of Ice Age Europe are institutions (legal persons) in Europe, representative of the Palaeolithic or Mesolithic, actively involved in and endorsing the objectives of the Ice Age Europe network, e.g. museums, collections or research institutions.
Note: Museum or visitor centers with a direct link to an Ice Age/ Palaeolithic or Mesolithic archaeological site and a permanent exhibition on the topic of Ice Age Europe classify as full members.
Candidates are asked to send a short dossier (PDF) to the office or the lead partner containing:
- A short description of the institution and its organization, including legal form, organizational structure and number of staff,
- Description of research, educational and touristic activities and numbers of visitors (if applicable),
- A letter of intent, stating that the candidate will actively participate in the networks activities, attend the semi-annual network meetings at one of the member sites, pay the annual associate membership fee (500 € p.a., subject to change) and respect the decisions made by the network members.
