The mammoths are loose!

A herd of 42 artistically designed mammoths from the Vogelherd Cave are off for a hike!
These oversized replicas of the 40,000-year-old, fully preserved mammoth figure were painted by artists and citizens of the region. Through the acquisition of a mammoth, you can support the district of Heidenheim and social services of the region.

The imaginatively designed mammoths are waiting for new owners. Also plain replicas for your own design work are still available.

The inaugural event took place on 20th October 2015 at the Archäopark Vogelherd, where the herd will roam until mid-November.
They will then move on to the long shopping night on December 12, 2015 in Heidenheim.

In the first week of February 2016 the mammoths will arrive in the Schloss Arkaden in Heidenheim to assist the work of the Förderverein Eiszeitkunst im Lonetal e.V. (Friends Association Ice Age Art of the Lone Valley).

Visit www.mammutschau.de for more information on the project (in German).
