In April 2017, the captivating journey of #IceAgeEuropeNow began. This extraordinary exhibition showcased large-format photographs, revealing fascinating discoveries, remarkable artifacts, and unexpected connections between the past and present. It captivated audiences in over 15 carefully selected locations across Europe.
The exhibition aimed to immerse visitors in our shared cultural heritage and highlight our common roots in Europe. It emphasized the enduring proximity of the Ice Age heritage to our lives today, inviting everyone to explore and appreciate its significance.
The grand opening took place at the renowned Neanderthal site, located at the Neanderthal Museum in Mettmann, Germany. From there, the exhibition traveled to Croatia, Italy, France, Spain, Gibraltar, and Belgium, covering a total of 11 venues across 7 European countries.
