Schools and teachers
The programs of all guided tours respect the pedagogical norms of basic and final competences, defined by Belgian educational system. The pedagogy underlying the presentation, i.e. action-based transfer of knowledge, is the driving spirit of the presentations we propose. The educational aim is to generate an integrated education about heritage (protection, preservation, conservation) through heritage (learning / knowledge, know-how).
The Préhistomuseum offers teachers pedagogical files, which can be downloaded for free. These are real toolkits, which contain activity files, summaries, commented bibliographies ... The educational service is eager to listen to teachers, in order to create in concert with them special programs.
The museum also has at its disposal a training centre for teachers, future teachers and students of museology and archaeology.

Adult Learning
Accompanied by an archaeologist in the workshops or at complete liberty in the 30 hectares of the museum, the Préhistomuseum can offer a variety of programs. Hiking across the heritage site, going to the heart of science or walking in free nature, visits can be adjusted to all tastes.
